All main dishes are served with the following side dishes:

azifa: Lentils prepared in mustard and lemon juice
alecha wot: Carrots and Potato (mildly spiced)
meser wot: Lentils in a red sauce with sautéed onions
spinach: Fresh sautéed spinach with tomatoes and onions (mildly spiced)
salad: Fresh lettuce, tomato and cucumber

The main dish and the side dishes will be served together on enjera, a mildly sour, yeast-risen pancake.
